Our Familias First and CBC Education staff recently took part in an intensive training on “Sexuality and Developmental Disabilities.” The coursework explored facts, biases and curriculum on sexual education for individuals with developmental disabilities. Familias First and our sister agency, CBC Education, now have certified staff who can teach the curriculum on an individual or agency-wide level.
We are committed to ongoing continuing education in our field in order to provide the most effective and comprehensive services to our clients.
Our training was held in Minnesota and we were able to have a little fun sight-seeing as well.
