Funded by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS), Regional Centers are nonprofit corporations that have offices throughout California to provide resources and services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. ABA is one of the services funded. If your family member does not have a diagnosis of autism or is younger than 3 years old, the Regional Center may fund the ABA services. A Regional Center may also fund services if you have a self-funded or out of state health plan. For more information, you may contact the DDS website to locate the Regional Center serving your area.
