Empowering Families: CARES Workshop Begins This August and September
Families connected to the Inland Regional Center, San Gabriel/Pomona Regional Center as well as all other regional centers now have access to a valuable new resource. The Client Access and Resolution for Essential Services (CARES) workshop is a four-part series created to guide families through the appeals process and help them secure the services their loved ones need.
Offered at no cost, the workshop will be held online via Zoom and is available in both English and Spanish:
- English series begins August 7
- Spanish series begins September 9
- Sessions run from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
CARES is made possible through funding from the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and is conducted by Familias First. This workshop will equip families with knowledge and tools to advocate confidently and effectively.
