Latino Association for Behavior Analysis Conference

Familias First was honored to be one of the sponsors of the inaugural ¡Adelante! conference, organized by the Latino Association for Behavior Analysis (LABA). Our CEO, Ruth Tello-Di Leva, co-founded LABA alongside Jose Rios and Isaac Bermudez, with the mission of enhancing cultural, social, and ethnic diversity in the field of applied behavior analysis and supporting the needs of diverse individuals and communities.

The conference featured keynote speakers Jorge Gutierrez, Michele Wallace, and Natalia Bares, as well as a special panel presentation on the Sibling Perspective led by Sandra Cazarez. Held during Latino Heritage Month at the Latin American Museum of Art in Long Beach, the event provided a beautiful space for education, networking, great food and camaraderie.

Here are a few photos of the event with many members of our clinical team attending.
