Hi all,
Welcome back to our blog! First off we want to say, HAPPY AUTISM AWARENESS MONTH! Yes, the whole month of April is dedicated to celebrate autism and everyone who identifies with it, isn’t that awesome? Since we are all about awareness this month we wanted to post some helpful autism facts, tips, and reminders for all of you to learn about.
We would like to provide some helpful reminders for this month:
• The Autism Walk is April 29th at the Pasadena Rose Bowl! Click here for more information if you are interested in participating. Please note that Familias First will be having a booth at this event. Please stop by and say Hi. We will have fun activities for the entire family!
• The Autism Awareness Ribbon is multicolored- red, yellow, aqua, and blue. Rock your autism colors as a way to support! You can purchase an autism awareness puzzle ribbon as magnet or pin on Autism Society’s website, click here for more information.
• Spread the word and educate others! It is beautiful to share knowledge and even better when what you share can help others!
• Last but not least, the month of April might be Autism Awareness Month but individuals with autism live it every day, so let’s remember to always practice inclusion and spread love and kindness to all!
We hope you all enjoyed this post. Please come back soon for updates and other posts related to Autism Awareness for this month! We will be posting about the Autism Walk next week. Leave your questions or comments below – we would love to hear from you!
Happy Autism Awareness Month! It warms my heart to see many different social media posts, events and activities all dedicated to Autism Awareness. I’m really excited to be able to participate in the Autism Walk at the Pasadena Rose Bowl! This will be my very first time attending the walk and I am looking forward to see you all there!
Autism walk it is a great event to come together and celebrate our families and friends. I been part of this even a few times and has always been a wonderful and fun time. It is important to give that support to this community and spread the knowledge. Please join us on this day!
